Our family is constantly outdoors. The husband and I love to ride bikes, so it is only natural that we want the children to as well. It makes for a wonderful family outing. Typically, we just put youngest in the trailer and tote him along, but we would really like him to learn to ride. Strider Bikes gave me the chance to try out one of their amazing tot bikes. It has been a game changer in our home!
Strider makes incredible, lightweight, efficient, all-terrain bikes that develop two-wheeled balance, coordination, and confidence in children. Youngest child adores his bike! He can get on and off himself, and he feels like such a big boy now! Check out the videos below!

Strider Bikes are made for tots as young as 18 months to learn to use two wheel bikes. So, instead of the traditional tricycle, Strider Bikes are: scientifically proven to teach your child balance, increases mobility, and are good for all terrains. Youngest child has both a tricycle and his Strider bike. Since the Strider has arrived, he has not touched his tricycle. He absolutely adores having the same sort of bike as mommy and daddy.      The Strider’s simple, no-pedal design builds confidence and eliminates fear by allowing kids to have their feet on the ground and progress at their own pace. This unique design teaches young children balance on two wheels right from the start, avoiding developmental delays typical with tricycles and training-wheel bikes.
Genuine Strider balance bikes are the lightest balance bikes in their category, have the lowest seat height (for the youngest starting age), and are tested to the most stringent safety standards. Frame-integrated footrests, proprietary components, and the ability to easily adjust to a growing child, make the Strider the only bike your child needs to develop their riding skills and successfully transfer onto their first pedal bike without training wheels.
Your Strider bike comes in a box almost completely assembled. The rest of the process takes about 20 minutes. It was not difficult at all, the husband is pretty handy. Within a few moments of seeing it, youngest child figured out how to get on and off the bike with no issue. He can walk around with it on his own. When we push him, he puts his feet up and loves it. Eventually, he will be able to balance and coast. Daily, he is on his bike and adores it. Strider Bikes has been awesome for youngest!!
Strider makes these incredible bikes in a variety of sizes. They are also used for special needs children, so they can also ride bikes. In our home, middle child still cannot ride a bike. It is a huge struggle during outings, so Strider is something we will definitely be considering in the future! I would recommend Strider to anyone with a child. This bike is an invaluable resource! No weaning off training wheels!!! Finally!
