Our family got to try a huge variety of cookies and mixes. My favorite was the Butter Crisp Love cookies that we received. We all loved the rich buttery taste in these crisp delicious cookies. As with all Ginny Bakes products, they are also gluten-free, organic, and non-gmo. The taste was phenomenal and you would have expected they were homemade. The butter cookies are basically chocolate chip cookies without the choclate chips. Since I am not a huge chocolate fan, these were perfect for me. The less is more concept that Ginny Bakes has shines through in their products. They allow their flavors to speak for themselves.
We also had the opportunity to try some Ginny Bakes mixes. These allow you to create your own tasty, healthy treats right at home. Our favorite was the Lovely Brownie Bliss. They were simple to make and only take an hour from beginning to end. The ingredients we needed to add were coconut oil, water, and an egg. Since I have an allergy to coconut oil, we did substitute canola oil. These brownies are even better than the regular box mix brownies you pick up at the grocery store. They are packed full of flavor and are so easy to make. We loved the box mixes since our children could help us in preparation. We had so much baking with the children, but of course the best part was eating the product of our labor! It was a great evening enjoyed by all. I also felt great about what my kids were eating since all of the Ginny Bakes products are organic, gluten-free, non-gmo.
