I'm excited to introduce you today to a wonderfully helpful app, Ourpact. All opinions are my own.
We live in a world where technology is everywhere. Our children are exposed to phones and tablets at an early age, so it is important that we set guidelines for our kids. It is recommended that our children are limited to two hours of screen time each day. An average child is exposed to 7.8 hours of screen time each day. For our family, that is something I do not want my kiddos doing, so I have been using the OurPact App.
OurPact is a convenient app that allows you to set guidelines for when your child can and cannot be using their devices. For instance, if you have a child who attends school from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. like I do, you probably do not want them accessing their apps during school hours. OurPact allows you to block access to the apps, but the child can still access their phone, messaging, and other primary apps. I find that OurPact is extremely beneficial for children who may have some issues following their parent's rules when mom and dad may not be around to enforce them. OurPact makes it easy for mom or dad to have the rules abided by, no matter where they may be.
For many parents, our kids are much more tech savvy than we are. OurPact is a simple download that every parent can understand. All you need is a smart phone and your child's device.
OurPact also features an Allowance feature. This lets a parent determine a set number of hours a parent wishes the child to access the Internet and apps from their device. Once that time is used up, they are done for the day. Allowances cannot take place during blocked out periods of time (for example, school hours)
I absolutely love OurPact. This app is going to end fights over when to stop playing games before dinner, or no more IPad in the evening. OurPact allows every parent to make the decision of how much time they want their child to look at the screen. So, take control today, and download it now
