We all have busy lives and they are all very different. For me, I have three kids, a husband that I adore, a home business, and a life that is very on the go. There are days I forget to eat, so taking medication can sometimes fall to the wayside. If I could have someone remind me, that would be amazing. However, I can't really expect a toddler to stop playing with his cars and tell me it is time to do so. However, I do have an amazing app that will do just that! Medisafe is a reminder that tells me when I need to take my medication, and it won't forget even when I am too busy to remember. The best part is, if I don't remember, it alerts my hubby that I didn't take my meds. This may seem like a bit much, but for someone who needs life saving medication, it is all the difference.

Medisafe stops the typical "Did I take that pill already?" worry. I can't tell you how often I do that! It simplifies even the most complicated of medication schedules and makes them easy to follow. You no longer need to be intimidated by the doctor's orders when you are home alone. This app will help you take everything at the prescribed time in the recommended doses.
Medisafe also makes it possible to stay on top of prescription refills, medication updates, and more. The app allows you to personalize it, so it is made just for you. Medisafe knows you and what works well for the specifications that you have entered. The app also connects you to your loved ones. This is so beneficial in a situation in which you have forgot a medication, and could potentially be dangerous. Medisafe is working on an update that will also allow you to connect with your doctor or medical professional.
The Medisafe app is amazing. It takes the worry out of medicine. It was created by two sons for their diabetic father. Their mission to help their dad manage his health and medication in a more effective manner now allows all of us to do so as well.
Medisafe is available for both Android and iTunes. Find out more info about Medisafe app here. Information about the story behind medisafe on the website. Medisafe's user story in the LA Times (David Julian)Medisafe's user story from our blog (Grace Hayes).
