As soon as you become a parent, you learn children are messy. It happens even before you leave the hospital. The  next thing you learn is that Dreft is your new best friend.
As a mom of three, incredibly messy children, Dreft is always on hand in our home. It is a brand we rely on because not only is it perfect for messes, but it is amazing for sensitive skin also. I have always encouraged my kiddos to get messy and explore their surroundings. Even if that meant they were covered in dirt and muck at the end of it! I truly believe that a messy kid is a happy child. They are creative, inquisitive, and bright.

Dreft has launched the Dreft America’s Messiest Baby Contest, inviting families to submit photos of their favorite messy baby moments. You have the chance to win awesome prizes, your child could even be on the cover of the May issue of Parents
Magazine! Dreft wants parents to embrace the messy moments and share them with the world!
So, how can you get your little one entered into this super messy contest? Take a pic of your child at their messiest and enter it here or post their photo on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #messiestbabycontest. Winners will also receive a supply of Dreft laundry detergent of course! On October 25th, Actress Molly Sims got a little messy with the little ones and helped Dreft launch their nationwide search for Dreft’s America’s Messiest Baby at the Dreft Messy Play Date Party in New York City. The search continues and it could be your little one!

Dr. Dyan Hes, Medical Director of Gramercy Pediatrics, was recently named a 2013 top doctor by NEW YORK magazine, is the Medical Director of Gramercy Pediatrics in New York City, and sits on the board of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. As a pediatrician AND as a mother, Dr. Dyan Hes knows that cleaning your little one's clothes with a gentle, hypoallergenic detergent, like Dreft, is a great way to help keep baby comfortable and tackle the everyday messes.
Dr. Hes has some tips to bring out your baby's messy side and help them to develop. One awesome tip she has is about bath time! Splashing in the bath can help your little one have fun but also be great for development! Make sure to use warm water (vs. hot) and use a mild cleanser to keep skin soft and itch-free.Gently pat skin dry and end with an after-bath moisturizer to seal in moisture and protect baby’s soft skin.
The Dreft #MessiestBabyContest Twitter Party will take place on Monday, November 14th from 9PM-10Pm EST. You aren't going to want to miss this party! It is fun filled and there will be plenty of prizes, including an iRobot Roomba. RSVP here and I will see you at the party.

It’s true that a messy child is a happy child so I’m going to use Dreft when my little baby boy comes out. From a general perspective, messy children can be a bit irritating but for moms like us, it’s a delight to see them exploring everything around them. I can’t wait for my baby boy, Gabriel, to be born. I’m so excited! Babies are a treasure that no matter what they do, we’ll love them to the fullest. Anyway, thank you for introducing Dreft to me!
